Throwthegame is a community of people who love playing games and making them too. Here at TTG we have concluded the worst part of a game is when it ends. We believe your favorite game should never end and should have everything you want in it.

So join us and together we can create awsome never ending games.

Throwthegame is using new technology like the HTML5 canvas element and requires a modern browser.

First try upgrading your browser to the most recent version. This should solve your issue.

If your on at school or work you can install Google Chrome Frame. This will upgrade Internet Explorer to a modern browser.

A game is created from a framework and can be customized to whatever you like. Every game is user created in the browser.

A framework is a completed game with all the images, sounds, code and can be used to easily create your own games. At the moment there is only one framework Modern Tactics, in the future more will be added.

First you must be logged in and then head over to the create page.

Once you give your game a title you will be redirected to the editor page. Follow the instructions and you'll be on your way.

To throw a game, means to publish your game to the website so others can play it. Once you are happy with your game its time to throw it! You can only throw once, after that people will see all updates.

Assets are custom images / sounds which can be used in your games. For Modern Tactics you can create custom tiles, weapons and outfits. All assets are created by users so you can create your own assets too.

This means your image editor removed the transparency of the image and it will not work in games. Try downloading a better image a better image editor like Gimp.

The number is the users current level. When you get enough points your account will level up. You can gain points by being active on the site, like posting comments, creating games, uploading an avatar, completing your profile and more.

The site gets updated at least once a week with new features and tweaks.

You can submit your ideas to the feature request forum.

First login, then click on the create button. This will show you all your games. You can then click on settings to edit a specific game. You can also hover over and you will see the most recent games.

The editor is the place where you make games and create games. Remember you must be logged in to access it.

You can edit game details, such as description, and title. You can also edit levels, add levels and sort level orders.

The editor might break in older browsers. We highly reccommend you install the latest version of Google Chrome or Firefox. This will give you the best experience.

This is because your game is set to private or it has not been thrown yet! Go to the games editor page and click on throw or change privacy settings.

You do, we all do. ThrowTheGame is a community of game lovers who create games and share them with the world. At Throwthegame we encourage users to be creative and think outside the box. We give you the tools to make games and the opportunity.

A user can create an unlimited number of games.

At the moment the limit is 8 this will be increased in the future.

Completing your own games will not give you any rewards. You must play other peoples games.

Currently there is no support for this. Its coming soon.

You can use any program you like. After creating a new asset you will have the option to download a sample asset to use. You can use Paint or Gimp. When finished simply upload the image.

Modern Tactics is a Tactical Role Playing Game, where two teams take turns controlling their squad to satisfy the objective. Most common objective is to eliminate the other team. As you complete levels your soldiers will rank up and new weapons might be unlocked. You can then customize your squad on the squad page.

Once in a game, you will see all your active soldiers will have a big blue square. Click on a soldier to select it. You can now command the soldier to move once and attack once. When finished click wait and continue until your turn is over. A good strategy is to not charge the enemy and always move your soldiers as one group.

As your soldier eliminates enemies, it will gain points and can rank up with enough. Once your soldier reaches rank 3 he will be able to equip a side arm. More rank bonuses will be added later on. Max rank is currently 10.

By winning levels there is a small chance to unlock a new weapon. Completing later levels of a game will unlock stronger weapons. Playing games with harder bots will increase your odds as well.

When shooting a gun the yellow square means to reload the weapon.

There are 7 different types of weapons in Modern Tactics: Assault: Good shooting mid-range and far-range. Submachine: Good shooting close-range and medium-range. Machine: Good shooting any range with high ammo but lower damage. Shotgun: Good shooting close-range. Sniper: Good shooting far-range. Pistol: Backup weapon good mid-range. Rocket: Good mid-range and hits multiple units but lower ammo.

There is a small chance to unlock a new weapon.

At the moment no bonuses.

Click on an entitiy while in the entity area.

When placing new entities you can define a special type. The default soldier type lets you create a custom soldier. The Player Soldier # will become a soldier in the current players squad. This is why you cannot define a weapon because the weapon will be whatever the player chose for the soldier.

At the moment you cannot do this. Maybe in the future.
